A two-storey, 200-square-metre villa with a pool running the length of the house. The ground floor is one large volume: living room, kitchen, pool table and dining area under a timber ceiling, all opening onto the water through full-height doors. Upstairs are the bedrooms and a long balcony with sun loungers.

The living room is arranged around a large TV, with a full-size pool table alongside and, beyond it, a kitchen with an oven, microwave, hob and a breakfast bar for four. The dining table for eight stands by the window overlooking the pool. The first-floor balcony has been set up as a gym: treadmill, multi-gym, dumbbells and a bench — the catalogue does not mention it; we found it in the photographs.

Rental terms

June — 125,000 ฿ per month, minimum stay 10 nights. Water and internet are included, electricity is metered. Final cleaning is included. No smoking indoors, with a 10,000 ฿ penalty. In high season the price rises several times over, so we send the current rate for the month you need.

Who it suits

A large family or two or three couples: the four bedrooms are spread along one floor, downstairs is a shared space for everyone, and the pool table and gym mean you need not leave the villa for weeks. The kitchen with its breakfast bar and the table for eight are built for cooking and eating together.
