A 35 m² studio in Japanese minimalism at the ReLife development, a ten-minute walk from Nai Harn Beach. Concrete, pale timber, a bed on a platform and floor-to-ceiling glazing — the interior reads as a single design decision rather than a set of furniture.
Inside
A bed on a timber platform, a built-in sofa along the window, a desk and a TV. The kitchen is its own zone: hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and crockery. The bathroom is finished in concrete with a shower cubicle. The washing machine is out on the balcony, along with the air-conditioning units and space for a surfboard.
Light and view
Corner glazing brings light all day; the windows face greenery and the neighbouring blocks, and road noise does not reach them.
Roof and facilities
The centrepiece of the development is the roof: two pools, one of them an infinity pool, with a panorama of the mountains of southern Phuket. There is also a seating area and a gym with a view. The grounds have security, lifts and free parking.
Location
Nai Harn Beach is 800 metres away: 10 minutes on foot or 2–4 minutes by scooter. Nearby are FamilyMart, Tops, cafés and healthy-food restaurants, massage salons, gyms and Nai Harn Lake — where people run and cycle.
