The Lago Berhala Suite is a one-bedroom apartment at The Lago by TropicLook, a three-minute walk from Nai Harn Beach. It is the only unit in the development in our selection that lets from three nights — the others take a minimum of ten.

The living room, with a large corner sofa and a TV on a timber panel, opens onto the balcony through a full-height door. The kitchen sits in the corner of the living room: hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, crockery and a built-in washing machine. The apartment has two TVs — the second in the bedroom — and a work area.

Rental terms
October — 30,000 ฿ per month, with a minimum stay of just 3 nights. Electricity, water and internet are included, as are cleaning with a linen and towel change every three days and the final cleaning.
Who it suits
Anyone coming for a short stay, or wanting to look at the area before committing to a long rental: three nights is a minimum you almost never find in an apartment with a separate bedroom. The seasonal price swing here is the sharpest in the development: 25,500 ฿ in June against 110,000 ฿ in January.

About the Developer
The Lago by TropicLook is a 2016 development: 72 apartments in three four-storey blocks, a 53-metre pool, a gym, security and a management company on site.
Berhala Suite is the most flexible unit in the development on length of stay: you can check in for three nights, whereas the neighbouring apartments let from ten nights or from a month. For a short trip it works out cheaper than a hotel with a separate bedroom by the same beach.
